A California company, Procter & Gamble, is already facing a lawsuit over its condoms, and other companies are trying to get around the rules.
“The companies that produce condoms, or those that sell them, need to be held accountable for these products,” said Michael B. Niederman, a lawyer with the Public Citizen Health Law Group.
“It’s time for consumers to be able to trust that companies aren’t selling products that are harmful to their health.”
